This spectre of your nightmares is [CENSORED].
(Yeah: today seems to be Reno Day. We'll get back to Florida tomorrow. Promise.)
According to police, [REMAINING TEXT AND PHOTO CENSORED]:

Publisher's Response
I take issue as to whether a Nevada court has any jurisdiction over a Colorado publisher -- especially when everything posted was attributed to police, and thus "true" to the best of my knowledge (the man was in fact arrested, he was in fact charged, etc.). Very importantly, the attorney did not supply a copy of the purported court order with her demand. I find it extremely unlikely that the document orders publications to withdraw articles relating to this incident.
Further, my admittedly inexpert review of the cited Nevada law speaks to the sealing of official records. It does not speak to the expungement of records, especially of third-party, out-of-state, publishers who are covered by the First Amendment.
All that said, and despite the fact that there are other sites with the same information posted online, I have removed the article: while I believe I am in the right, the risk v reward ratio just doesn't come out on my side. I consider this a loss: of entertainment for you, and of free speech -- you know, that Constitutionally protected federal right? -- to me. But hey: eroding rights is nothing new, right?
This is also discussed in my blog: Take-Down Show-Down.
(Yes, I blocked out the attorney's phone/fax numbers: that's not censorship, I did it of my own accord. The point here is not to encourage anyone to harass the attorney; leave her alone. The article was removed from this site 19 August 2011, approximately 24 hours after receipt of the above letter, dated 4 August 2011. -rc)

Well, this IS Reno we are talking about. He may truly act that way all the time, with no help from either drugs or alcohol.

Sad is that he goes to the dog park and is such a nice man and loves his dog very much. Maybe he is another one that needs medication.

[CENSORED] had court on 06/11/2010 the case WAS DISMISSED due to NO EVIDENCE. The Reno Justice Court has DROPPED ALL CHARGES against [CENSORED] and the case was DISMISSED not because of lack of evidence but dropped because of NO EVIDENCE in this case to convict him of ANY charges. You can find the docket at the Reno Justice Court for your viewing on this case.
