Elizabeth Breeden, 41, of Land O'Lakes Fla., wanted the last beer in the house. Her boyfriend sat down to drink it, so naturally Breeden "went off."

She allegedly tried to grab the beer out of his hand, but he wouldn't let go. Police say she ripped the beer can in half, spilling beer on her boyfriend, his chair, and the floor.

When he stood up, he says, she slapped him across the face and kicked him in the groin.

The police report notes that Breeden was "extremely intoxicated" (we never would have guessed!), and the trash can in the house she shared with her boyfriend was full of Natural Light beer cans.

Mmmmmm. Natural Light.

She was arrested on June 16 -- for the 18th time since 1999 -- on domestic battery charges. Breeden's boyfriend told police he didn't want to press charges, but she was still held at the Pasco County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.

We're starting to get the idea that alcohol isn't a problem -- crappy beer is.

A Jessica Alba lookalike? Are you serious?

I was going to sign my name Shirley U. Geste in response, but it's obvious he's kidding. Either that, or he's seen Jessica without her make-up.

Pardon me, but are you Joe King?

Why, no, I'm completely serious.

You ask if there is a "normal" part of Florida. Considering that we are the only state where you have to go North to be in the South, I'd say "weird" is our normal operating mode. Heck, our Capitol building looks like an erect male member. Central Florida is owned by Mickey Mouse, and South Florida has more foreign nationals (Cubans, Haitians, and many others) than people born in the US. Driving down there is incredible -- just read Dave Barry's blog. Of course, we all love our crazy state!
