Ottis Dwayne Ryan, 22, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., allegedly broke into a preschool on June 30.
Ryan rang the doorbell at Little Pioneers Preschool about 2:00 p.m., and when the owner answered the door he asked to be let inside. He had several tattoos on his face and was carrying a brown paper bag. Owner Susan Singletary refused to let him in, and went into a playroom to call 911, according to Pasco County Sheriff's Office reports.
Somehow the man got in the locked door anyway and went into the playroom where Singletary and a teacher were holed up, and started yelling at them. "Don't listen to God. He is not real. Listen to Allah," he screamed. He told them not to look at him, and yelled some more. "Don't feed those crying babies. Let them die!"
Singletary tried to distract him while they waited for police to arrive, and asked him what was in the bag he carried. Probably not a good idea: they say he pulled out a multi-blade knife with brass knuckles attached. When police arrived minutes later, Ryan was on the floor and appeared to be praying.
He told Sheriff's deputies, "I am the supreme being. I wanted to cleanse the babies. I am here through God."
Ottis Dwayne Ryan was arrested and charged with misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon and felony armed trespass. He is being held in lieu of $5,500 bail.

God, not God. Allah, not Allah. Kill the babies, save the babies. Yeah, dude, whatever.

Ryan will kick in the wrong door, threaten someone prepared, who will end his existence. That will be no loss, and will save the hundreds of thousands of dollars of tax payer money that will mis spend trying to make this psycho into something he will never be, a positive, contributing member of society.

This post and some of the related comments make me a bit sad on many levels. First, here is a young man who is obviously in need of mental health treatment -- who is unlikely to receive the treatment he desperately needs. In a few years, he will be cut loose to do more damage to society. His claim to be God is just a symptom of his illness, not a condemnation of religion!
Second are some of the comments. Such as Greg from New Hampshire. His rather condescending response likening "average" chruch-goers to someone quite insane -- well is just sad. I am sad that as a committed (NO, not in a mental health facility!! :-) ) ELCA Lutheran, we regularly endure barbs not only from those who feel they are intellectually superior because we believe in a "myth" but also from certain (MANY!) so-called Christian religious groups who condemn us to Hell because we take seriously "ALL are welcome". Gay, straight, male, female, black, white, Asian, Muslim, Hindu, etc should not make any difference to "Love your Neighbor". Yet, too many "Christian" groups make distinctions on just these kinds of differences.
It all makes for black eyes for those of us who are sincerely trying to make the world a BETTER place, not a more RELIGIOUS place.
@Greg in New Hampshire: If you are ever in Pasadena, Ca, in the summer time, stop by our church on a Sunday evening -- no church service, we just BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs and feed all comers, play some games and have fun! You may find we are not as kooky/pig-headed as you might think! ;-) Ask Randy for my email address if you are truly interested as this is NOT a forum for advertising churches as I'm sure Randy will agree!!

Strange... as I was scrolling down to look at his face, I thought to myself. What the f%*@... And what does he have tattooed on his left cheek: FTW... probably he goes 'what the f*#%@" too when he looks in the mirror.
