bullet  Sticking To It

Hall of Fame Selection (from our archives)

A guy walked into a liquor store in Ashland, Kentucky, with his head wrapped in duct tape, with enough gap so he could (fairly well!) see.

He allegedly went to the counter and demanded money. The employees laughed at him, displayed some of their own duct tape -- wrapped around a wooden bat -- and sent the robber fleeing. A store employee chased and caught the robber in the parking lot, where he was held until police arrived.

When officers arrived, they found Kasey Kazee, 24, in all his duct-taped glory:

Then officers removed the duct tape:

Kazee was arrested August 10, 2007, on charges of first degree robbery, and was held on a $250,000 bond.

You really should revise your article to include the bit about him claiming they had the wrong man. That's the part that kinda makes the story complete. :)

Had that detail been part of the source story, it would be included. Unfortunately, there was no mention of such a claim. -rc

I love the tape burns on his face! How I would have loved to be there when they pulled it of.... "RRRRRIIIIIPPPPPPPPP!"
