Shooting Herself in the Foot
North Branford, Conn., mother Valerie Minicucci dropped her child off at school, and when she didn't leave the building, school personnel became suspicious.
They found her in a bathroom, allegedly injecting something into her foot with a hypodermic needle. Police arrived, and a search of her car recovered heroin, cocaine, and hypodermic needles. She was arrested on January 15, 2010, and released on a promise to appear.
No, really! She promises!

Isn't that child endangerment? How could they think that she wouldn't go strait to her connect for more drugs? Did she promise not to? She's a junkie for Christ sake. She will be high before she goes to pick up the child. That is definitely putting that child in danger. What is happening to our system, when we do not even try to protect the children?
