bullet  She Loves to Fly, And it Shows

As Yasmine Villasana, 22, approached the toll booth at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport at a little after 6:00 a.m. on June 1, she says she was rear-ended, and that's why she blasted through the toll booth.

Unfortunately for Villasana -- and very fortunately for DFW officials (and us!) -- the incident was captured by a security camera. She is obviously not being pushed by a car behind her:

We have the full video for you below. A ramped concrete barrier sent her airborne, apparently launching her over the toll booth. When she landed her car burst into flames. We can hardly blame it.

"Ms. Villasana kept trying to get back into her vehicle while it was on fire," DFW Airport Police officer David Hergenrader noted in his report. She said she wasn't injured and didn't need EMS. Villasana insisted she had not been drinking that morning -- only "one cranberry and vodka last night," Hergenrader recorded in his report. He gave her a field sobriety test.

A chunk of Villasana's car was apparently left behind at Toll Booth 49:

We haven't heard whether there was anyone in there, and if so whether they needed to go lie down (or change into clean clothes!)

As time went by, Villasana said her arm hurt. She let paramedics splint her arm, but refused hospital treatment.

Villasana agreed to take a breathalyzer test. The results weren't released, but she was arrested for driving while intoxicated, then released to go to the hospital to get her arm checked. Doctors say her wrist was "shattered" and needed surgery that evening to repair it.

If "God looks after drunks and fools," Villasana clearly got a double dose of protection.

So, what do you think? About 80 mph?

"W, remember the little red button?"

"Yeah?!?"

"Push the little red button. Man, you might want to put on your seat belt."

Wonder if she was listening to Elvis.
