I'll bet they double checked to be certain that Al-Homsi was really a female, because, then they can also charge her with not being fully covered according to Sharia law.

I agree with your opinion. I think it's mainly the newspaper reporter's horribly awkward phrasing (which we did make fun of) -- the "She and another man" bit -- that is bringing out the comments. -rc
