"I picked the wrong house," Kenneth Parkerson, 28, reportedly said after allegedly sneaking into the screened patio area of a house in Coral Springs, Fla., with a video camera.
The woman in the home screamed for her husband, a firefighter, who came running. Parkerson ran, but homeowner Ireneusz Fajkis quickly caught up with him, and tackled him on the front lawn.
It was the "wrong house" indeed. Parkerson himself explained it to a nurse at Coral Springs Medical Center: "because a UFC [Ultimate Fighting Champion -- a mixed martial arts discipline] fighter lived there and beat me up."
Parkerson was booked for burglary, video voyeurism, marijuana possession, and tampering with evidence -- for allegedly trying to destroy the camera before his beatdown.

Yep: you never know whose house that is! Consider that a warning.

I have to wonder how you find these people. When this came up on the local news, I was tempted to send you the URL, but I knew you would find it. The news people interviewed the fireman who looked like he was equal to the task. I must say that what happened to this POS made me feel like this is what should always happen. I am so happy that this guy is already punished. Case closed (for now).

Most of them are found in the research done for the stories in This is True, but we definitely can't find them all. That's why there's a link in the header and the footer of each page on this site that says "Submit a Mug Shot" -- so if you find something good, you don't have to hope we'll find it! -rc

I hope the homeowner didn't injure his hands badly when pummeling that creep.

Martial artist, huh?
When hands are outlawed, only outlaws will have hands.
@Robert in Missouri: Right on! When explaining our side in altercations, we've told the authorities, "He severely punished our knuckles with his face."
