A 27-year-old Immokalee, Fla., man is charged with burglary and misdemeanor battery after allegedly breaking into a woman's home. But the weird part is what he did next.

Jose Luis Erebia Jr allegedly broke into the house where the woman was housesitting, entering through an unlocked door. She reported that she was sleeping when a man with "Joe" tattooed on his chest woke her, threw a $20 bill at her and demanded sex. She refused and demanded he leave.

But he wouldn't go until she gave him back the $20 bill. When she refused, he allegedly told her he would return with a gun and shoot her.

As the woman told a Collier County Sheriff's deputy the story, a car pulled up, but didn't stop when the driver saw the squad car. The deputy got on his radio and asked for the vehicle to be stopped. The woman identified the driver as her attacker. It was not reported whether a gun was found in the car.

Erebia remains jailed on $12,500 bail.

He's held on $12,500? He no doubt will get a lot of action for that.

$20??? What do you get for $20?

L Brooks Patterson, former DA for Oakland County, MI, was telling a story about his younger days when he was an ADA. He had a case where a 65-year-old woman was charged with prostitution. Prosecutors usually request sentencing conditions, but in this case, he didn't want to make a jailbird out of someone's grandma. So he leaned over to a colleague and asked, "What do you usually give a 65-year-old prostitute?"

His co-worker answered, "Not more than $15, that's for sure!"

Mike from Dallas - ROFLMAO! Good thing I was already out of coffee, or I'd be getting a new monitor and keyboard.
