Posted by April, KY on August 6, 2010: Last entry? Nooooooooo! I understand that you have your fingers in many pies, but I will miss this site! I also hope that someone will pick it up and keep it going. I wish I were in a position to do so. Posted by Carole, Springfield, IL on August 6, 2010: Oh No! Say it isn't so. Good luck Randy. Posted by Marie from Florida on August 6, 2010: I think we're all going to miss the Mugshot Museum. :o) I will especially miss the postings from Florida. At least I have This is True to provide me with humor about stoopid people. Posted by Jim, Huntington Beach, CA on August 6, 2010: His actions and attitude say, "KISS MY ASS" and his mug shot is a map to where that ass is: everything behind the pucker. Posted by Pierre Ontario Canada on August 7, 2010: That look... on his face.... WILD! --- Oh, that's his face? Funny, but I was sure it was the other end. Huh. Thanks for clarifying! -rc Posted by Anthony, Huntsville AL on August 7, 2010: The Mugshot Museum will be missed. The notifications were always my second favorite e-mail (This Is True, of course is always the first) as it provided a face to put with some of the fantastic stories mentioned in This Is True. Too bad it could not continue on its own merit...it was extremely enjoyable. Keep up the good work Randy, in all you do. Thanks for the laughs that MSM provided. Posted by Jim in southwest Illannoy on August 7, 2010: Randy, we're really going to miss the Mugshot Museum. I realize it's been a freebie for us and not worth the effort on your part. Still, I want you to know I've really enjoyed it. I feel a little better about myself every time I read a new article on here. --- Glad you enjoyed it, Jim (and the rest!) It was certainly fun to write these. -rc Posted by Kathi, Florida on August 7, 2010: I was heartbroken when you announced last week you were giving up 'Mug Shot'. It has provided many hours of good laughs over the past several months. Wish I had the wherewithall to take it over myself. I hope someone will step up. Yes, this was a very fitting final post. --- Yes, we sincerely appreciate ol' Toby's timing. -rc Posted by Wayne, Boston on August 9, 2010: Sorry, Randy, but I never really "got" this site. Good for you to stop beating a dead horse. --- Well, all I can tell you it was (and so far remains) one of the top-100,000 web sites in the world -- and in the top 25,000 among U.S. web surfers. So clearly, other people "got" it. The site's mission is noted on the about page. -rc Posted by Ren in Alexandria, VA on August 11, 2010: I really enjoyed this site, and am sorry to see it go. As they say in the LOLCats world, "i haz a sad." Comment Page: 1 | 2
