Maybe he thought he was "Dog - The Bounty Hunter." He DOES resemble a Bulldog (no offense to the legitimately unfortunate looking animal).

I wonder if the "family" will ever regret not meeting their child, niece/nephew, grandchild, etc. Probably not! Nor will it be much of a loss for the little one to lose these losers as family!

I wonder how much time you get for conspiracy to a Federal felony? Throw the book at the whole family and make them pay a whole lot in fines which should in turn be given towards the raising of this child!

Be cautious: just because the cops said the guy thought he was doing the family a favor doesn't mean they had any idea what was going on. It could be the husband didn't really know either -- it'll be interesting to see what details come out later. -rc

That face has a huge L written all over it. Who could possibly have mistaken this man for a federal agent? And what steps are being taken against the morons who fell for so transparent a disguise and let this man do what he did?

This is especially hard on the poor pregnant wife stuck in the Philippines and having to fight the battle with ICE again to be allowed back in the United States. After putting up with his family, she may decide she never wants to come back. Hopefully their baby will inherit enough of her genes to compensate for those from her husband's side of the family.

It's a proven fact that acting like you belong, and have every right to be doing whatever it is you're doing, will usually help you get away with it. Showing up at the police station, with a fake badge, gun and a T-shirt that says "Federal Agent", is really pushing the envelope! Like you say, Randy, it'll be interesting to see what details surface. If the husband's side of the family does prove to be involved, I suspect we'll see some more federal proceedings.

The Feds are going to have a field day with him in court.

"Field day" is probably putting it lightly, Robert. I think we can bet they'll be focused on making an example of him.

The dumb schmuck probably STILL can't figure out what went wrong! ;)

Is the husband the father of the woman's child? If so, he deported his own kid!
