I think her punishment shouldn't be jail time. They should make her join the military and send her overseas and tell everyone she serves with what she did.

Ooooh, Kellie, right on, girl!

Kellie nailed it! Make it so!

Kellie has a sorry idea. Why inflict her attitude on other troops? Especially since she wouldn't be a volunteer.

Better to put her on a chain gang picking up litter. Or just fine her triple the value of the stolen stuff.

But don't dump her on the military.

I'm just waiting for her feminist attorney to state that the veteran she abused was fighting for her right to do it.

Felix: But can you imagine sending her through boot camp and telling the drill instructors what she did? Ooh, I'd just love to watch that.

Does she look the old neighborhood where I grew up "friend" type, or the Craigslist Erotic Services friend type??

A good question, to be sure. The SP Times just used the word "friend", and as of now (I just checked again), there are no updates to the story. -rc

Young Raina here knows that times are tough, older men are easy targets for sleazy younger women, she's got the looks, and can smile and look interested with the best of the barroom B-girls. So, to help her and her boyfriend make the rent and keep beer, a few groceries and some decent prescription meds at the apartment, our humanitarian honey gets into business as a -- whatever one cares to call it. Even she might have had second thoughts about ripping off a disabled veteran, but I doubt it. If she did, they didn't clutter up her pretty little larcenous head for very long - or turn her from going ahead with her plan to clean out the man. Weak show, Raina. Seriously low-class stuff, sweetheart. Get off the drugs and alcohol. Be somebody. Make your grandmother proud. Or your parole officer. Somebody. This sort of thing makes everyone wonder what the world has come to be in 2010.

Regarding the idea of forcing her to join the military and letting her drill instructors know what she did, whatever they think up would more likely than not be far too good for a slimeball like her. Forcing her to do hard labor for a few years might be enough to make her reconsider some if not all of the bad decisions she made in her life.

I agree with Kellie in PA, make her join the military. After my nine years that I served I can honestly say I know what they will do with her. She would get every shit job they can find for her to do. And if the sent her to Iraq or Afghanistan they will train her to be a Bullet Catcher, or a bomb detection dog… I mean person. I hear they still give big bonuses for those that are trained in land mine detection and survive. You know the kind they run out into a mind field and have to see if they can detect their way out in two hours or less.
