Herbert Moore of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, was upfront with police when they questioned him regarding a bomb threat he allegedly made at a post office.
"He said he was waiting on his money or he would blow the place up," Kings Mountain Police Cpl. JT McDougal said. He went on to tell police that if he had been successful in his robbery attempt, he would have moved on to another post office and tried again.
A search of the premises revealed no explosive device, and Moore was arrested December 19, 2009, on charges of false bomb reporting and armed robbery. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
