Police in Topeka, Kan., responded to the classic call at a classic location: a robbery at a convenience store. What happened next is, as far as we're concerned, a classic story.
A delivery man had witnessed the robbery and called it in, but by the time officers arrived, the robber -- who was armed with a knife -- had made his getaway.
Police wouldn't have any trouble spotting the getaway vehicle: a rented white stretch-limo Hummer.
Indeed, an officer reported that he had just seen one near the convenience store, heading away from the scene, so its last location and direction of travel was broadcast to all officers in the area.
Within minutes, the chauffeured limo was spotted and pulled over, and its passenger, whom police said was intoxicated, was arrested.
Erick D. Henson, 24, was charged with aggravated robbery, criminal damage to property, and making criminal threats. He was held without bail.
Police determined the limo driver was not involved in the robbery, just driving the passenger around as he was asked.

Is that some sort of padded armor he's wearing?

Maybe he planned to go in the limo so he could say he went out in style. Some class act he is. NOT!
