A Reno, Nev., church school was closed for a day after a man made numerous bomb threats against it.
Leland Dement Jr, 60, was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly making more than 20 calls to 911 and threatening Our Lady of Snows School with a bomb. Calls to 911 typically include the caller's exact address. Dement was quickly apprehended.
Bomb-sniffing dogs were sent to the school and did not find any explosive device, but school officials closed the school Monday as a precaution.
Dement was held in the Washoe County Jail on suspicion of making unlawful use of the 911 phone system with bail set at $3,000. He was also charged with making a bomb threat, a felony, with bail set at $25,000.

Would police consider Dement a demented criminal?

A guy who calls in bomb threats to 911 twenty times? "Demented" doesn't even begin to describe him. Try "psychotic as hell".

Perhaps -- unless his name is Dement. -rc

What is it, with guys losing their hair (unsuccessfully trying to cover it up) and ending up in your Museum? Think there's a correlation? LOL
bandit, albuquerque: I fail to see how the ACLU defends "MY" liberties by fighting to take down a cross in the middle of the Mojave Desert that some guy in OREGON finds offensive to HIS sensibilities! Nor do I feel the ACLU has ever done anything for my demographic group since I was put on this earth!
I think Paul, St. Petersburg was correctly pointing out that the ACLU takes on ANY "fringe" group and fights for almost ANY cause (including other religions) except for and against anything Christian.

I'm no apologist for the ACLU, but you're wrong. For just one example: http://www.thisistrue.com/aclu.html -rc

Y'all do realize, of course, that by definition, all toupees are bad.
Ever see a good toupee? Of course not. If it's a good one, you won't know it and, therefore, you'll never 'see' it.
