bullet  A Toast to My Daughter

Christopher Lee Swickard, 37, was arrested in a church parking lot in Minneapolis, Minn., after police found him sitting in his idling car.

It was 10:00 p.m. on February 3, 2010, and Swickard and his teen female companion were "obviously intoxicated," they say. Alcohol tests found his blood levels to be "nearly .40" percent. And the girl, who turned out to be Swickard's 15-year-old daughter, had a level of .10 percent.

Swickard was charged with driving while intoxicated; charges of child abuse, refusing a drug and alcohol test, distribution of harmful material to a minor, and open container in a vehicle violations may be pending.

The girl was cited for underaged drinking, and taken to a hospital for evaluation. Police say the two were apparently sharing a bottle of vodka.

Hey, he could have been off drinking by himself. Instead, he chose to spend quality time with his daughter so they could have a healthy familial bond. How nice! [/redneck.logic]

He should have an additional charge added to his arrest: Assault with a ridiculous beard.

The family that drinks together, sinks together.

Maybe he can use his time in jail experimenting with different ways to braid his beard.
